Now at the 12 Second Commute:
After a grueling week of nonstop information provided by Mr. Ed Dale and his team with in The Challenge concerning building Market Leadership. The members of the 12 Second Commute finally completes module 4 of 7 of this years Challenge.
As the week began we were given the vital information on what it takes to be a market leader of any and every niche area in the Internet Marketplace. Although the basis of Market Leadership is in itself is a simple process of gaining vital information and conveying it to associated readers. As with in most anything the art of building a following and retaining their loyalty was explained and most appreciated.
Build a following just by learning and serving
Day 2
Using the tools that have been given within the past 3 weeks, We next had to start pulling in information about our related niches ( called fueling up ), and the most important part of the lesson was to be consistent in our own particular efforts. We added another particularly useful and vital tool to our already gleaming arsenal. Evernote allows a person to view web pages, cut and paste portions or full pages to a note storage source for later review and inclusion into future article submissions. Making the process seamless and unique.
Day 3
Going back to our Market Samurai program we furthered our investigation of our competition, taking note of their specific target market, how and why they were providing information and gaining useful tidbits of information for our own related submissions. Market Samurai is indispensable for this as you can view and record information from all of your top competitors all from one location without having to search through countless amounts of pages.
Day 4
We found ourselves being familiarized with the Google Reader program and how to set up folders for the various category keywords within our niches. With the rss feeds from the Reader program a grand collage of material surfaces enabling one to gain the necessary information within any given area to be able to write or speak intelligibly about a topic. The Evernote program is especially useful in this situation. We were also shown another great resource, that being the site of Instapaper which allows an individual to store and retrieve web sources for future analysis.
Day 5
Ed began this lesson showing us how he used his iphone and ipad to synchronize and maximize his online work with the versatility of being able to accomplish these tasks from anywhere in the world. A dream of many to be able to work from the comfort of your own chosen location.
Day 6
An introduction to niche area forums was given and how to find forums and interesting content with in, was given as a vital way to help build your market leadership brand. It seems the most passionate people within any given niche area not only voice their related opinions within forum areas, but also provide excellent material for inclusion into new content and keyword selection.
Day 7
Networking and Social Media usage was the final topic of this module. We learned how to glean the topics of greatest concern from the followers within any given niche. How to take those concerns, build articles of note, and then be able to communicate to our audience the freshest perspective on a particular area of concern.
Through consistent and diligent effort, Market Leadership is acquired and attained. People would rather purchase goods and services from someone that has helped them with a situation in their life, than from someone that just throws their product on the market and expects sales in return.
To be able to be a leader anywhere it is vital that one develops a sense of servitude. Providing knowledge, assistance, and a willingness to go beyond oneself in order satisfy the needs of many. A resource full lesson on Market Leadership learned by the 12 Second Commute Community.
