Automatic Geek Corporation is renaming it's Geek Bar, the Smart Bar. When the concept for the newly released One Click Media Bar was first conceived, the original intent was to incorporate their already released and popular geek bar with the new one click media bar.
After much discussion among the leaders of the company and leading business associates, they decided that a better way might be to leave the two products separate. This would eliminate any confusion among associates and users alike about the provisions of each product.
You see that within each product there lies a vast array of material and the combination of the two might result in demeaning one or the other.
Just to give an example of what I mean, within the one Click Media Bar there is a section called the Super Bargain Finder, it is billed as the most revolutionary online shopping tool available in the Internet marketplace today and with one click of the mouse you will have at your disposal nearly 80% of every business that sells a particular product or service, no matter what the product is.
By typing in a desired product and hitting the enter key, instantly listings by perspective vendors are made available in six major tab categories.
Listings by Google, Amazon, Overstock.com, Best Buy, Clickbank, and listings with a Google map of every retailer within a 50 mile radius of your location will appera. Never before has it been so easy to find that hard to find product or service that you seek.
Now, if AG were to combine their 24/7 online computer tech support with the 1 Click Media Bar in this example, there may be online shoppers calling on the geek techs for information on various products or services or asking how they might get to a particular business location.
To eliminate confusion and keep in line with their motto of a good experience, I do believe Automatic Geek made the right choice by keeping the two products separate. It is the best way.
The New Smartbar that will replace the old GeekBar still has all of the original software that was contained within the geek bar, which is a vast amount of material in itself. It also includes the 24/7 online computer tech support, and will be adding the educational software videos of the smart library to aid users in the use of social sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc. but also with programs like Vista, the new Windows 7 and other popular software titles. It is therefore fitting to rename it the Smart Bar.
