Your Colorado Elk Hunt may be ‘trickeyer” than usual this season!
Weather is always a concern of any one that is venturing out to do a little bit of hunting.
I recently returned from a scouting trip to one of the largest elk populated areas in Colorado. The Area is just north of Winter Park and East of the town of Fraiser. An area well know to Elk hunters from all over Colorado. I can tell you that the weather has been absolutely beautiful…temperatures during the day near 85, little rain and almost perfect weather for fishing.
It has become what is known in Colorado as an Indian Summer, but what does that mean to the average Elk Hunter?
